A long-term residential Program that rehabilitates "at risk" homeless pregnant women and teens, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and abuse, through spiritual development, education, counseling, as well as training in job, life and parenting skills .

Programs: 

"Ray of Hope" Residential Maternity Program for "at risk" homeless pregnant women and teens where they have access to prenatal medical care, counseling, birthing and parenting classes, mentoring and education.  After giving birth, whether they choose parenting or an adoption plan, our mothers become eligible for our "Transition to Hope" Housing Program where they receive case management and are able to work, continue their education or job/vocational training for a period of up to 2 years as they work toward a bright future of financial responsibility and independence.

Sunlight Home has been changing and saving lives for the past 25 years, and is a unique organization, one of the few of its kind nationwide. We help disadvantaged women to rise above the poverty and abuse they have suffered with hope of a bright future.  We offer our programs to all pregnant women and teens in crisis that have been abandoned in their greatest hour of need, whether they parent or choose adoption. Working at Sunlight Home gives one the opportunity to actually make a difference the the life of a mother and her baby. The satisfaction of helping these "at risk" women and teens see hope for a better future is most rewarding.
