Programs:

Our Work

We achieve our mission of educating women to make informed health choices by connecting with women through fact-based, expert-sourced content, and creative evidence-based programming. We keep women's health part of the national dialogue by raising awareness to decision makers about the impact health policy has on women and families. And we work collaboratively with partner organizations and alliances to reach more women.

Some of our work is created with support by the generous support of our funders. We implement timely, evidence-based educational programs, national events and campaign initiatives on specific topics important to women and their health. The support allows us to create educational content grounded in science, free of commercial bias, and widely accessible to all.

Areas of Focus:
Mission:

COCA's mission is to strengthen, support and connect the international community of camps serving individuals and families affected by childhood cancer.

Programs:

The Children's Oncology Camping Association is a membership organization composed of 120+ non-profit camps that provide free outdoors experiences to children with cancer and their families. COCA provides special emphasis upon providing professional development, medical training, community networking and conference opportunities to our membership.

Why Work For Us?:

This is an organization whose membership is composed of passionate individuals who are dedicated to assist the journey of those families on the cancer journey.

As COCA's Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist Camps across the US and Canada who greatly impact the lives of children with cancer every day!  Education is a key component of what COCA provides to member camps and we are able to assist in their improvement of best practices in pediatric oncology camping through the Gold Ribbon Program. Ultimately, COCA's partnership with our members ultimately impacts the positive camp experience for the kids and families through the programs, activities they enjoy as well as attitude and camp culture.  The end result is to equip pediatric oncology camp professionals so they may bring the 'magic' of camp to individuals and families affected by childhood cancer.
