At NDC, you’d be supporting passionate staff from multiple types of design backgrounds.  The Neighborhood Design Center, founded in 1968, provides access to pro bono design services in underserved communities in Baltimore City and Prince George's County, MD. In collaboration with neighborhood groups, local government agencies and fellow nonprofits, we support locally driven initiatives for neighborhoods pursuing improved quality of life within their built environments.

 

You would:

Programs: 

The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) is one of the world’s preeminent centers for collaborative research. Researchers—some 2,000 per year—come to MSRI to work in an environment that promotes creativity and the effective interchange of ideas and techniques. MSRI features two focused programs each semester, attended by foremost mathematicians and postdocs from the United States and abroad; the Institute temporarily becomes a world center of activity in those fields.

The building is located near Grizzly Peak Boulevard, close to Tilden Park with spectacular views of San Francisco Bay and the UC Berkeley Campus.
