CAN’s High School Services begin engaging with students in 11th grade and continue supporting them through to high school graduation.

The heart and soul of our team are our AmeriCorps members, who choose to dedicate a year of service to our community. These national service members build one-on-one relationships with high school students, mentor them through the college application process, and work side-by-side to overcome barriers that may otherwise prevent them from securing a college degree.  At our partner high schools, AmeriCorps members spend four full days a week on campus leading weekly sessions for juniors and seniors, providing one-on-one advising and support, participating in staff meetings, and collaborating with teachers, administrative staff and career counselors.

College Services - At College Access Now, we know getting into college is just the first step—and we are here to make sure students graduate as well!

Our team works with students on how to adjust to life on a college campus, connect with resources and extracurricular activities, renew financial aid and scholarships, secure internships and part-time jobs, and even connect students with professional mentors in their fields of study to help you prepare for careers after you earn your degree.
