This Voucher-based program strives to help low-income people living with dogs and cars in Northeast Ohio access affordable veterinary care for their dogs and cats.

Pet Care Resource Program

The goal of this program is to provide information about living healthy with or near pets, as well as providing a list of organizations that help pets in need of care in Northeast Ohio. Anyone caring for a pet can benefit.

Forging Partnerships

This program is to work in partnership with an increasing number of veterinary clinics across Northeast Ohio, and other pet care providers, to help increase access to veterinary care for low-income households living with dogs and cats.

Why Work For Us?:

One Health Organization seeks to hire people who love to learn something new every day to benefit those we serve, the team as a whole, and themselves.

We strive to nurture a culture of inclusiveness, empathy, compassion, and mutual respect when working together within and outside the organization.

The office is currently small with two staff members; the founder and her administrative assistant. The intent is to grow the organization to support the big, hairy, audacious goal the founder envisions will become a reality in the future.

Value Proposition Statement

The foundation of One Health Organization is to provide access to veterinary care through financial assistance to pet parents/owners in need. Led by care and compassion, we are committed to supporting the bond which exists between people and their pets.

By focusing on the establishment and expansion of partnerships in our community, One Health Organization directly impacts the continued health, relationship, and companionship between people and their pets.

One Health Organization is uniquely dedicated to supporting the family bond between people and their pets across Northeast Ohio.

Survival International USA

Overview
Headquarters:
Oakland, CA, USA
Founded:
1969
About Us
Mission:

We are Survival, the global movement for tribal peoples’ rights. We’re the only organization that champions tribal peoples around the world. We help them defend their lives, protect their lands and determine their own futures.

Programs:

Tribal peoples have developed ways of life that are largely self-sufficient and extraordinarily diverse. Many of the world’s staple crops and drugs used in Western medicine originate with them, and have saved millions of lives. Even so, tribal peoples are portrayed as backward and primitive simply because their communal ways are different. Industrialized societies subject them to genocidal violence, slavery and racism so they can steal their lands, resources and labor in the name of progress” and “civilization.”

Our work is preventing the annihilation of tribal peoples. We work in partnership with them. We give them a platform to speak to the world. We investigate atrocities and present evidence to the United Nations and other international forums. We support legal representation. We fund medical and self-help projects. We educate, research, campaign, lobby and protest. We won’t give up until we all have a world where tribal peoples are respected as contemporary societies and their human rights protected.
