Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are looking to hire a dynamic Development Specialist to work at our office located in York, PA.
This is a full-time exempt-level position, 35 hours per week. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A comprehensive benefit package is provided.
As the Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive development plan within central Pennsylvania, focusing on the York/Capital region.This will include, but not be limited to: assisting with the annual appeal; obtaining corporate support; developing, organizing and implementing fundraising events; marketing of events; working with volunteer committees; and entering donor information into the database, etc. This position will report to the Vice President, Development located at our Headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.
- Two+ years professional experience in the development or related field preferred.
- Prior event management experience preferred.
- Social media marketing experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- Prior experience with computer databases preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.
- Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance required.
