Location: Yanceyville, NC (approximately 45 miles from Greensboro, Chapel Hill, or Durham, NC; approximately 30 miles from Roxboro, NC)

Basic Responsibilities:

• Acts as clinical and administrative supervisor of the team, overseeing the operations of the team, providing clinical oversight of services in conjunction with the Psychiatric Care Provider.  • Supervising team members to assure the delivery of best and ethical practices.  • Managing human resources.   • Directly providing services to ACT service individuals.  • Active role in screening referrals and assessing individuals at intake.   • Participating in person-centered planning meetings.   • Provides structured face-to-face scheduled therapeutic interventions to provide support and guidance in all areas of functional domains: adaptive, communication, personal care, domestic, psychosocial, problem solving, etc. in preventing, overcoming, or managing the recipient's level of functioning and enhancing his/her ability to remain in the community.   • Make every effort to meet critical standards contained in the most current edition of the National Program Standards for ACT Teams as established by the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill or US Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Mental Health Services.  • Provides QA staff service notes and ensure timeliness.  • Approves timesheets and billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.  • Coordinates and conducts peer review.  • Ensures incident reports are prepared and submitted on time.  • Assists in preparing employee evaluations.   • Assists in training new employees.  • Completes required training within prescribed timeframes.  • Successfully participates in the DMH approved ACTT training.  • Assists Program manager in creating and maintaining the ACTT Budget.   • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A graduate from a college/university with nationally recognized accreditation with a Master’s degree in a related human service field.  • Must be licensed or provisionally licensed as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LPA.  • Has one year of full-time, post-graduate accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served and at least three years’ experience overall with population served.   • Previous ACTT experience and previous supervisory experience preferred.  • Skills and competence to establish supportive trusting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and community stakeholders as well as respect for individual rights and personal preferences in treatment are essential.   • Must have a valid, unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license.
