Under the direction of the Vocational Rehabilitation Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of Employment and Community Services program transportation needs and professional development, contract relationships and development, and on-site observation of all community-based Community Inclusion Specialists. Will also coordinate all staff training of the department to job specific tasks per the specific demands of each work site. Monitors and assists in the training of all staff and individuals served in the specific vocational tasks associated with all community-based work sites.  Ensures that programs meet the vocational habilitation and rehabilitation needs of persons served with an emphasis on person-centered services and the primacy of the individuals served right to self-determination.

Full Time position with Benefits; M-F, 40 hrs. per week, 12:30pm-9pm

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Coordinates all Employment and Community Services daily transportation schedules.
  • Ensures that safe operation of fleet of vehicles assigned to Employment and Community Services program. Oversight of maintenance schedule of the vehicle fleet, conduct monthly vehicle inspections, maintain and organize mileage logs, maintain and organize vehicle checklist,, and other vehicle maintenance task as requested.   
  • Monitors the GPS monitor system installed in all Employment and Community Services vehicles to ensure safe operation by staff.
  • Monitors department wide transportation schedules as outlined by department managers.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Educational Background: 
High School diploma required with five years of experience in direct care services in human services or Associates Degree required and three years of experience in direct care service in human services
or Bachelor’s Degree required with one year of experience in direct care services in human services.

  • This position may be authorized to have access to protected Health Information (PHI) to perform specific job duties.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, personal vehicle and appropriate insurance.
  • Completion of certification: CPR & First Aid, PMT, and all other required state trainings.
