Director, Corporate Campaigns & New Account Development

Through close collaboration with the Senior Vice President Resource Development, manage partnerships and special projects targeted at increasing revenue for the organization. Responsible for developing and implementing aggressive plans to cultivate new business relationships and new revenue. Plan, organize and direct fundraising efforts within organizations and assist in the overall campaign efforts. Support United Way's commitment to excellent customer service by facilitating communication and relationship-building with community partners and key stakeholders (local organizations, businesses, and individuals).

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Represent UWSA at community functions.
  • Develop new relationships with key business leaders and non-profit partners for fundraising. Work with Executive Committee members and other volunteers to cultivate new business prospects and enlist their aid in making strategic contacts.
  • Work with and support Loaned Executives on the management of corporate campaigns and the interactions with company contacts.
  • Manage partnerships and special projects targeted at increasing revenue for the organization.
  • Develop and implement aggressive plans to cultivate new business relationships and new revenue. Collaborate with other Resource Development staff members in the implementation of the new business program.
  • Maintain close, positive relationships with the key accounts in assigned portfolio throughout the year, including planning and oversight of the accounts’ annual United Way and community campaigns – focusing on building and maintaining effective relationships. Plan, research, and record key information for all accounts with a focus on top tier accounts and contacts.
  • Provide courteous, sensitive, and on-brand customer service to both internal and external customers, relying on the organization’s branding toolkit to guide all customer interactions.
  • Maintain complete and accurate campaign records, leadership history and campaign program descriptions for assigned portfolio.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion and/or approval of organizational documents, including but not limited to performance reviews, goals and objectives, timesheets, expense and travel reimbursements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and campaign leadership.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
