The Clinical Services Director provides clinical leadership, consultation and support to ECI program and ECI site managers and staff. Responsible for overall program services and intervention for children and their families. Additional requirements include program leadership, consultation and support for all other Easterseals programs and services. Responsibilities include supervising, training, and providing continuing education, for direct services providers as well as support teams.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Plan, develop, coordinate and supervise the delivery of therapy care services and home visiting services.
  • Manage program development, fiscal budget and performance improvement.
  • Support ECI Managers to set and monitor ECI staff productivity, performance and achievements.
  • Work with CEO on continuous quality system of program integration, to ensure coordinated services and quality outcomes for children and families.
  • Ensure the company complies with all federal, state and local laws.
  • Keep CEO informed regarding accreditation policy and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of the Providersoft billing system and medical records processes.
  • Knowledgeable of maintenance intervention plans and case notes through electronic system - ProviderSoft.
  • Knowledgeable on individual family service plans (IFSP) for Early Childhood Intervention Program patients.
  • Oversee auditing of clinical services and clinical record reviews to establish uniformity, precision, and quality recordkeeping.
  • Performs literature searches and analyzes data to answer questions that arise surrounding therapies.
  • Provides clinical information to support contracting strategies.
  • Works with CEO to design clinical intervention programs that result in better quality care and cost savings for families.
  • Ensures that staff maintain family centered and professional approach toward all Easterseals’ families as well as fellow employees.
Educational Background: 
Bachelors in nursing, rehabilitation services, therapy/OT, PT, SLP or related field, required, Masters and licensed preferred.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Five years proven experience of management and progressive leadership experience in a similar service setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations and standards.
  • One to two years’ experience in medical records and electronic medical billing systems.
  • Understanding of coding and reimbursement systems, risk management and performance improvement helpful.
  • Computer knowledge to include, word-processing, database management and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills, essential.
  • Good time management skills, excellent follow through abilities and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work well with others and in a team environment and work with multiple agencies.
  • Bilingual capabilities preferred.
