The United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Southeast Indiana office is seeking an energetic team player to provide measurable impact, initiative and relationship building as part of their fundraising efforts to grow local campaign results; provide partner agency support to realize community impact goals in Southeast Indiana.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Provide campaign development, customer service, communication and operations support to current, elapsed, and new corporate partners. Develop and implement strategies within assigned portfolio to ensure campaign goals and objectives are attained. Cultivate relationships with key constituents of assigned companies within portfolio and provide ongoing leadership through establishing a campaign cabinet with local volunteers to obtain campaign goals. Participate in regional campaign cabinet meetings and development staff meetings as needed. Manage email, phone correspondence to the public, volunteers and others related to campaign. Manage database (MSCRM) to meet overall development revenue and engagement goals in Southeast Indiana Counties.
- Provide support for special events (Volunteer projects, revenue generating events, Day of Action, etc.) and other local efforts that elevate the United Way brand and increase revenue in Dearborn and Ohio Counties. Establish relationships with local agency/community partners to cultivate opportunities for growth in United Way revenue and awareness of collaborative impact in the community.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- Two years of previous fundraising or sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to create, grow and retain strong customer relationships.
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft office products (Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MSCRM desired.
- Public speaking, interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organizational ability to manage work responsibilities is required.
- Personal transportation required.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds.
