To help Corporate Engagement team achieve fundraising goals through employee workplace campaigns, individual giving and special events. Development Interns serve as an ambassador for Orange County United Way at meetings, campaign events, presentations, volunteer projects, and community fair opportunities to increase awareness and engagement in the fulfilment of overall mission.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist in assigned corporate partner relationships to help achieve overall fundraising goals
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with corporate partners—employee campaign managers (ECM’s), campaign committees, volunteers and staff
- Support ECM’s and ambassadors in executing year-round engagement campaigns
- Provide timely and responsive customer service
- Utilize CRM system to upload, track and measure relevant account and donor data
- Using own transportation—deliver and pick up campaign-related material
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
- Provide excellent customer service
- Develop and deliver effective verbal presentations to groups of 5 – 250+ individuals
- Time and organizational management
- Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel)
Educational Background:
High School Diploma

- Comprehend and analyze financial and statistical data
