The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in our Aspire Day Services. Have fun and share our passion for changing lives! No Experience Necessary! We provide all the training!
This is a Part-Time position working Monday-Friday 8:30am-2:00pm with the exception of Wednesdays, when the hours are 8:30am-4:00pm.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Administer medications, treatments, and other medical procedures as trained and prescribed
- Implement behavior programs and documentation
- Assist with activities and outings
- Other duties as assigned
Educational Background:
Must be at least 18 years old with either a High School Diploma, GED, or the ability to pass a reading test.
Skills/Experience:
- Must pass a Physical, Drug Screen, TB Test, reference checks, and background checks.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 70 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds routinely.
