Summary:

Easterseals North Texas is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).

PROGRAM SUMMARY:

Easterseals North Texas Child Development Center is a full replication of the Walden Early Childhood Center at Emory University in Atlanta which is the only nationally recognized Incidental Teaching and National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited model for ABA therapy.  We provide a fully inclusive preschool program, supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), and  work on language and socialization throughout the child’s day.  Our goal at the Child Development Center is to impact preschool-aged children to produce significant and lasting behavior change to better their lives, as well as the lives of those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.  Young children with an autism spectrum disorder have deficits in both their ability to communicate and their ability to learn from others in the natural environment. With the acquisition of these skills, alongside their typically developing peers, they can begin to acquire new skills with much less systematic intervention and in a more natural environment.
