The ACT Team is a multi-disciplinary team of professionals consisting of a Psychiatrist, Nurses, Vocational Specialists, Housing Specialists, Peer Support Specialists, Substance Abuse Specialists, Therapists, and Qualified Mental Health Professionals. The RN works as a member of the ACT Team. The RN will administer and monitor psychotropic medications, perform nursing assessments and interventions, provide case management, coordinate with medical providers, and keep accurate records under the supervision of the psychiatrist and the registered nurses on staff. The RN will also assist individuals in development of skills and supports needed to live and work, and be integrated into the community with the greatest possible degree of self-determination and independence. May participate in 24/7 on-call crisis phone rotation and be available to respond to emergencies during both daytime and nighttime hours as needed.
- Must hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities. Must have at least 1 year of experience with the severely and persistently mentally ill population.
