The Livingston County United Way (LCUW) is a collaborating partner, working together with many non-profit, for-profit, governmental and faith-based organizations, to address the most critical human service needs of Livingston County residents. Located in Brighton, Michigan, the LCUW is a driving force of change in the community, focusing on providing local families resources for financial stability, improving children’s lives, and promoting community health and wellness.
The Livingston County United Way is looking to add an experienced Community Investments Director to its team. This position is lead staff to the community investments portfolio, which drives effective investments of donated dollars toward long-lasting positive change. This person works with partners across multiple sectors to build quality systems of care and support.
- Knowledge of community human service needs, programs, initiatives, trends and systems
- Ability to work as a collective impact champion
- Provide a results-oriented approach to program effectiveness: an appreciation for data driven decision-making.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
