Pet Partners is seeking a talented, service-oriented administrative professional to join our Therapy Animal Program team. The Volunteer Support Specialist is responsible for providing exemplary customer service to support Pet Partners programs as well as providing administrative assistance in support of the work of the rest of the Therapy Animal Program and organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming leads and cases, providing answers to inquiries directly where possible and redirecting other topics to the appropriate party.
- Provide customer service oriented tier 1 technical support for the Volunteer Center and Learning Management System, respond to inquiries and resolve problems.
- Answer incoming phone calls, providing answers or directing calls to the appropriate party. Handle potentially sensitive information and emotionally charged interactions in a professional manner.
- Assist in the management of program data including the creation and maintenance of volunteer records, writing reports and creating dashboards in Salesforce and the LMS.
- Produce outbound electronic newsletters/communications through Engaging Networks, including supporting reports and scheduling.
- Assist with media upload and occasional updates to WordPress site, as requested.
- Receive, open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including fax, email, and mail; sign for packages and deliveries as required.
- Actively contribute as a member of a collaborative team to programmatic growth and expansion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional customer service orientation, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, including data entry accuracy managing high-volume workload.
- Sound judgment as it relates to policy interpretation and enforcement.
- Strong decision making skills and the ability to identify how and when to escalate issues.

- Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and team member.
- Ability to work independently, showing initiative and working effectively and efficiently with minimal direction.

Position: Full-time, non-exempt: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours daily, M-F between the hours of 7am and 5pm in Bellevue, WA Office). This job cannot be performed remotely.
Salary & Benefits: $29,250 Annual / $15 per hour with full benefit package. Pet Partners does not pay for relocation expenses.
