Reporting directly to the board the position will provide community and organizational leadership, measured by visionary and strategic thinking, the ability to problem solve and make decisions while leading and developing the United Way Team.
The position will be responsible for seeing that strategies and relationships are built. These will be measured by the impact of coalition building, the development and investment of resources while overseeing volunteer, investor and donor relationships all while taking into account political awareness.
The position will demonstrate a business acumen leading by example, measured by operational planning, financial management of the brand, attaining goals and outcomes, overseeing human resources and the annual review process and managing technology.
It is critical of the position to model exemplary values and personal attributes in both personal and professional settings, measured by achieving orientation of the team, leading and managing with integrity while remaining flexible, identifying opportunities for continuous learning opportunities for self and the team.
