Summary:

Position Classification: Part-Time/Substitute Must Be Able to Spend the Night.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Supports individuals in reaching their goals, respects the dignity and individuality of each individual and his/her right to confidentiality. • Assist individuals we support with daily needs, ensures that the safety, health, and nutritional needs of the individuals we support are met. • Completes required paperwork accurately and as required by program. • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, filing, documentation, administer medications as ordered. • Ability to be organized, punctual, and have the ability to document and maintain confidential data. • Strong adherence to ESUCP mission & core values.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. • At least two years of experience working with people with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities, preferred. • Ability to work independently, handle multiple responsibilities, assign priority to activities and ability to manage the goals of multiple individuals. • Having experience with working with individuals whom have been dually diagnosed is preferred. • Must be able to work a 24 hour shifts (which include 8 hours of un-paid sleep time). • Must complete and maintain current ESUCP training curriculum, which includes, but not limited to the following: CPR/First Aid, NCI, and Medication Administration, in-service trainings as required and other trainings relevant to position as defined by local program guidelines.  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work location.
