Basic Responsibilities:
• Supports individuals in reaching their goals, respects the dignity and individuality of each individual and his/her right to confidentiality.
• Assist individuals we support with daily needs, ensures that the safety, health, and nutritional needs of the individuals we support are met.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and as required by program, performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, filing, documentation, administer medications as ordered.
• Ability to be organized, punctual, and have the ability to document and maintain confidential data.
• Strong adherence to ESUCP mission & core values.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required.
• At least two years of experience working with people with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple responsibilities, assign priority to activities and ability to manage the goals of multiple individuals.
• Must be able to work an 8 hour shifts.
• Must complete and maintain current ESUCP training curriculum, which includes, but not limited to the following: CPR/First Aid, NCI, and Medication Administration, in-service trainings as required and other trainings relevant to position as defined by local program guidelines.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work location.
