United Way of the Plains (Wichita, KS) is currently recruiting for a full-time Neighborhood Revitalization Director.  This position’s primary responsibility is on efforts including operations, programs and programmatic partnerships.

Areas of Responsibility: 
  • Position is responsible for ensuring that all programs deliver desired and continually improving results, on time and within budget, in order to build brighter futures for residents of selected neighborhoods.
  • The position also manages the United Way’s efforts to measure its impact by capturing data about the progress on goals as measured by outcomes.
  • The director will foster open communication and sustain strong relationships among all partners that serve the neighborhood.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor degree required, Masters degree in a related field a plus.
Skills/Experience: 
  • The successful candidate will possess strong management abilities with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful experience in the design, management, and assessment of programs in at least one of these areas: education, social services, community building.
