United Way of the Plains (Wichita, KS) is currently recruiting for a full-time Neighborhood Revitalization Director. This position’s primary responsibility is on efforts including operations, programs and programmatic partnerships.
Areas of Responsibility:
Position is responsible for ensuring that all programs deliver desired and continually improving results, on time and within budget, in order to build brighter futures for residents of selected neighborhoods. The position also manages the United Way’s efforts to measure its impact by capturing data about the progress on goals as measured by outcomes. The director will foster open communication and sustain strong relationships among all partners that serve the neighborhood.
Educational Background:
Bachelor degree required, Masters degree in a related field a plus.
Skills/Experience:
- The successful candidate will possess strong management abilities with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful experience in the design, management, and assessment of programs in at least one of these areas: education, social services, community building.
