Director of Major & Planned Giving

United Way of the Plains (Wichita, KS) is currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our resource development team as a full-time Director of Major and Planned Gifts to help our organization improve lives in our community. This position will develop and cultivate relationships with high net-worth individuals, employers, employees and affinity groups across the community to help raise major gifts through leadership giving, bequests and planned giving to support the mission of our organization.   Qualified candidates will have previous sales/marketing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, along with being able to demonstrate a high level of energy and commitment to achieve goals in a both a team and independent working environment.  Qualified candidates must also be highly organized and able to supervise and motivate volunteers.
