The Coat Drive Program Manager is a new position that will report to the Executive Vice President of Development & Communications. This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely for a national nonprofit organization. Responsibility: Volunteer Engagement and Retention / 60%

Manage the volunteer experience of participating in the Coat Drive Program

Provide support to volunteer Coat Drive Ambassadors via email and phone calls

Update and improve the coat drive registration process as needed

Collaborate with the Director of Agency Relations in pairing Ambassadors with Nonprofit Partners and trouble-shooting issues as they arise

Create a robust volunteer appreciation and retention program including selecting and interviewing 12 Ambassador of the Month recipients
Responsibility: Communication & Content Creation / 20%

Produce communications regarding the Coat Drive Program, including:

Welcome packet and emails

Marketing materials
-
Tools and Resources
-
Website pages
-
E-newsletter content

Maintain current Coat Drive Program information on OWC’s website, including the Coat Drive map, FAQs, and tools and resources

Communicate with volunteers to acquire testimonials, stories, and pictures

Work with the Executive Vice President to create an annual survey of the Ambassadors and compile and report the data
Responsibility: Volunteer recruitment and program expansion / 15%

Conduct targeted outreach to organizations and individuals to grow the Coat Drive Program
Responsibility: Teamwork / 5%

Maintain a commitment to and focus on the mission of One Warm Coat: to
provide free, warm coats to children and adults in need while promoting
volunteerism and sustainability. -
Support the rest of the One Warm Coat Team with other duties as needed

Passion for One Warm Coat’s mission: to provide free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability

Minimum of 3 years professional experience working in the nonprofit sector

Strong volunteer recruitment, engagement, and retention skills

Experience providing high levels of customer service

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Commitment to prioritize service to others and work collaboratively within a team

Self-motivation and creative problem-solving

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding, and service-oriented environment

Proficiency adapting to new technologies including CRMs and project management tools
The salary range is $64K to $70K plus great benefits including health insurance, dental and vision, Simple IRA, life insurance, phone stipend, and a generous PTO policy.
