Responsible for direct support to UWPC Development in multiple capacities.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Plan and prepare for Cardboard Boat Regatta or similar event.
- Assist in acquiring event sponsorships and coordinate procurement of Silent Auction items.
- Assist in all event planning as needed.
- Prepare and distribute support materials for Loaned Executive and Campaign Cabinet volunteers.
- Work with Unifi to assure pledge entry is accurate and complete.
- Produce needed Andar reporting throughout campaign cycle.
SCOPE OF TASKS:
- Work with the Development team to identify and initiate with new businesses regarding participation in United Way volunteering and workplace campaigns.
- Conduct data analysis to identify account strengths and opportunities, develop best practices, and create comprehensive development plans.
- Coordinate monthly letters and thank you pins to our Feather Society donors.
- Promptly handing inquiries, value donor gifts regardless of size, and regularly communicate about UWPC products and results
- Occasional presentation to community and business groups, articulating UWPC’s goals, activities and results persuasively driving donations as needed.
Educational Background:
Bachelor degree or 2+ years’ experience in volunteer management. Computer skills necessary.

- Ability to multi-task, be comfortable with ambiguity. Adaptable and flexible.
- Strong proficiency in computer software applications.
- Able to work independently and within teams to produce consistently high quality work.
