Responsible for overseeing the development of vision, outreach, growth, and the delivery of East Texas Center for Nonprofits’ programs and services
Areas of Responsibility:
- Assist in developing and implementing vision and strategy for sustainable growth
- Build relationships with business and nonprofit leaders across East Texas
- Prepare, raise and operate within an approved annual budget
- Plan and oversee the delivery of services
- Manage staff and volunteer schedules and duties associated with the Center
- Administer and monitor grants and contracts related to the Center
- Strengthen community awareness through marketing in all media
- Maintain good public relations
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in conference and training development and implementation, fund acquisition, program delivery and staff supervision
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong visioning and analytical skills
Physical ability:
- To set up and tear down event venues
- To sit or stand for long periods of time
- To communicate orally in small and large groups
- To navigate and travel to meetings throughout the East Texas region
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary: $51,000 to $60,000 per year
