United Way of Pierce County in Tacoma, WA has set a goal, along with major community partners, to put a significant dent in poverty in Pierce County by lifting 15,000 families out of poverty and into financial stability by 2028, United Way has reframed the conversation with our community into one of action that is drawing strong support from throughout the county.

We are seeking a creative, high energy development professional to lead our transition to a donor-centered development model that will engage current and future donors to support the vision and actions of our United Way. There are no bad ideas in our United Way – we are open and challenging and success oriented.
