Reports to:  President

Purpose: To coordinate and facilitate year-round campaign and marketing activities designed to build community relationships, increase contributions and revenue.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Primary Responsibilities

Campaign

  • Develops campaign plan, calendar, resource materials, and special events
  • Recommends campaign budget
  • Serves as staff liaison to campaign volunteers
  • Provides support, motivation and recognition of volunteers
  • Researches, identifies and develops new accounts
  • Provides year-round cultivation of existing accounts
  • Supervises campaign material distribution
  • Develops and coordinates training for campaign volunteers
  • Provides ongoing communication and support to volunteers
  • Conducts rallies, presentations, agency fairs, special events etc.
  • Assists President in conducting potential analysis & long-range planning
  • Assists President in working with the campaign cabinet
  • Assists in establishing leadership giving program
  • Assists in post-campaign thank-you program
  •  Assists with initiatives to improve campaign database functions

Marketing

  • Designs and implements year-round marketing plan
  • Develops marketing print materials
  • Works with Communications Committee on year-round image campaign
  • Writes press releases
  • Manages social media platforms
  • Accepts opportunities for public speaking
  • Produces an annual report
  • Conducts marketing analysis
  • Designs presentation visual materials

Educational Background: 
High School Diploma
Bachelor's Degree
Skills/Experience: 

Position Requirements: 4-year degree or equivalent experience in fundraising preferred, training, business, or volunteer management or any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Skills: Excellent written and verbal communications skills, computer competency, public speaking ability, program planning and design, budget management, problem-solving, analysis of accounts, self-motivated, valid Texas driver’s license and regular use of motor vehicle, ability to meet deadlines.

Physical demands and work environment:  Generally, an office environment. However, work will include local travel to donor worksites or community meetings for presentations and special events. Special events may require minor physical exertion such as extended periods of standing and set up and tear down of events.

Compensation/Benefits: 

Relocation expenses: Negotiated

Annual Salary: $41,000 to $50,000 per year
