Driver - South Bay

Safely transport passengers on assigned routes in accordance with agency and Department of Transportation Regulations.

Basic Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting passengers during assigned outings and ensuring their health and safety by following Easterseals safety standards and California Vehicle Code policy and procedures. Will also be required to complete and maintain inspection logs, safety logs, and daily mileage logs. 

Qualifications:

• Class B or a valid Class C with the ability to obtain a Class A or B Driver’s license within 90 days of hiring.
• Experience driving large multi-passenger or other large vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, through oral and written skills, with all levels of staff and the general public.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively. Ability to walk, stoop, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time. Ability to push/pull wheelchairs on a variety of terrain.
• Ability to pass post-offer medical examination and criminal background clearance.
• Must submit a clean DMV printout.
