Content Marketing & Distribution Manager (100% Remote)

The Content Marketing & Distribution Manager will work with a small team and modest budget for a brand that is well known in the nonprofit ecosystem, to build a bigger team that engages large audiences in advancing civil society. With revenue this position will scale up, with the vision being to produce a robust capability to provide robust reporting on nonprofit orgs, issues and leaders.  This position reports to the CEO. 100% Remote.

 

Areas of Responsibility: 

m/Oppenheim and its educational nonprofit mOppenheim.org seek a Content Marketing & Distribution Manager to:

  • Drive content distribution and measure viewership among people who are mid-career on, through podcast, webcast, text, social media and other distribution mechanisms.
  • Help shape content on nonprofit orgs, issues and leaders by working in collaboration with the Manager of Content & Editorial and other members of the team.
  • Function as a producer and facilitator of our Nonprofit Report show, meaning that this person will book certain shows and orchestrate most half hour shows.
  • Maximize earned and contributed revenue that supports the development of new content, so that our digital content initiative funds itself and has working capital to expand coverage of civil society nonprofits.

 

Educational Background: 
Minimum 5 years relevant professional work experience; track record working for mission-driven organizations; strong executive function skills (on time, on budget); Background in journalistic, story-telling mindset with a strong human interest component f
Skills/Experience: 

This position requires: experience with webcast/podcast distribution and engagement metrics; experience building earned and contributed revenue streams along with viewership; and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

Minimum 5 years relevant professional work experience; track record working for mission-driven organizations; strong executive function skills (on time, on budget);

Background in journalistic, story-telling mindset with a strong human interest component favored; education in marketing, business, political science or relevant areas is favored, but practical experience and results is our focus and not a particular degree; grant-writing experience a plus.

Strong intercultural awareness and commitment to highlighting different peoples, perspectives and problem-solving approaches.

Compensation/Benefits: 

Salary range: 60-75k + End of Year Bonus potential

Benefits include: Paid holidays, 13 days vacation, 10 days sick, major medical insurance, flexible spending account,401k plan, allowance for internet/cell. Work is performed 100% remotely. Office closes early on Fridays.
