Executive Director

The Executive Director (ED) will ensure RCUW’s relevance to the community it serves, provide inspirational action-oriented leadership to continually enhance the organization’s capacity to carry out its mission, and ensure accountability of the organization to its diverse constituents.

The ED is the leader of the organization, establishing a vision for Community Impact that is achieved through the efforts of a diverse team of high-performing leaders, staff, and volunteers. The ED is the main professional resource to the volunteer leadership of the organization. S/he maintains significant relationships with the Board and officers, other committees and volunteer leadership, and with agencies serving Rowan County, while maintaining day-to-day operations and carrying out the organization’s mission.
