This position is responsible for recruiting, coordinating and implementing all aspects of the Parent Café Project, to include facilitating the training, recruiting, coordinating and implementing Parent Cafe learning groups within the specified demographics and using evidence-based curriculum.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Coordinate existing community partners and Easterseals program staff to target priority populations and locations for café implementation.
- Provide support and coordination/scheduling of staff providing training.
- Develop and implement professional development tracks for HOPES team
- Monitor and collect data on Parent Café impact.
- Coordinate locations for groups and support materials
- Recruit participants for groups through collaborators.
- Provide evidence-based curriculum for groups and materials, as needed.
- Must participate in required supervision, meetings and trainings.
- Must complete required trainings of the agency and CEU’s of your license if applicable.
- Must demonstrate flexibility with work, attitude and communication with HOPES staff and families.
- Must have the ability to learn and implement early intervention strategies and techniques.
Educational Background:
Bachelor degree in Early Childhood or related field.
Skills/Experience:
- Supervised experience working with young children and/or parents.
- Experience in marketing or outreach or community liaison.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with proven comfort level dealing directly with the public.
- Good time management skills, excellent follow through abilities and detail oriented.
- Ability to work well with others and in a team environment and work with multiple agencies.
- Bilingual capabilities required.
