Intensive In-Home Team Member

Must deliver services in various environments, such as homes, schools, detention centers and jails (state funds only), homeless shelters, street locations, etc;  diffuse crises, evaluate nature of crises, and intervene to reduce the likelihood of a recurrence; ensure linkage to needed community services and resources; arrange, coordinate, and monitor other services on behalf of the individual; monitor and manage the presenting psychiatric and/or addiction symptoms; provide self help and living skills training for youth; provide mental health treatment for the youth or other family members as directed by the Team Leader; provide parenting skills training to help the family build skills for coping with the youth’s disorder; work with caregivers in the implementation of home-based behavioral supports

Educational Background: 
Bachelors degree in Human Service field with two years, post degree experience with population served (at risk youth) preferred or Masters Degree in a Human Services field with one year post degree experience with population served (at risk youth). 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree (Qualified Professional status highly preferred) requirements - must have a minimum of one (1) year documented clinical mental health work experience with population (at risk children and families).  Applicants with previous experience with Intensive In-Home encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience with Autism/ Co-occurring mental health and developmental disabilities highly encouraged to apply.
