- Provides Benefit Orientation to Employees.
- Manages Employee Benefit Enrollments.
- Manages Employee Benefit Terminations.
- Maintains Benefit Files.
- Assists in Benefits Administration.
- Maintains Effective Department Communication.
- Staying current on related laws and regulations in the benefits industry.
- Assists with requests from supervisors/employees.
- Assists with audits as needed.
- Special projects as assigned.
Educational Background:
High school diploma from accredited institution (USDOE or CHEA) and at least 2 years of benefits administration experience.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate, organize and follow through.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
- Computer skills, including typing, Microsoft Office software and ability to work within an HRIS system or other database.
- Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Flexibility and coping with change.
- Performance under tight deadline.
Compensation/Benefits:
Pay Range: $13.00-$15.00 per hour depending on experience.
