The primary purpose of this position is to administer and support the Virginia Quality program in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia as Technical Assistance Support Specialists (TA), who provide three types of specialist assistance: (1) CLASS Specialist, (2) Curriculum Specialist, and (3) Environment Rating Scales (ERS). While Virginia Quality is the primary focus of this position, part-time Childhood Success Coordinators may be asked to participate in other United Way of Southwest Virginia Childhood Success programs and initiatives on an as needed/available basis.
