We are seeking a full time Administrative Assistant at our Mt. Vernon, IN, office. Successful applicants will have experience working in a busy office setting, will be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Publisher, and will be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks. College degree preferred.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Reports to Vice President of Easterseals Rehabilitation Center's Posey County division.
- Assists vice president and department heads with office support.
- Manages and maintains office equipment.
- Answers phone and greets visitors.
- Assists in organizing and planning holiday and other events.
- Maintains relationships with administration, staff, advisory board, general public, and facility consumers.
- Creates and updates print communications (newsletters, flyers, certificates, etc.).
- Assists with end of month procedures, prepares bank deposits and requisitions.
- Maintains, coordinates and updates a variety of required records, meeting minutes, files and databases
Educational Background:
College degree preferred.
Skills/Experience:
- Should be skilled in typing, office management and general office procedures.
- Applicant needs at least 2 years of computer experience and a working knowledge of Word Processing and Windows applications.
