Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are looking to hire a dynamic Manager of Rehabilitation and Support Services in the Pittsburgh Area.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm, 12 months per year.
Areas of Responsibility:
- The Manager, Rehabilitation & Supports Services provides leadership to coordinate and supervise the effective delivery of all therapeutic support services provided within the Private School Programs, ACCESS, and Charter School Programs.
- The Manager, Rehabilitation & Support Services shall also be accountable for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, community education and productivity enhancement in flexible interdisciplinary approach.
- To accomplish these tasks, the Manager Rehabilitation and Support Services must work closely with the community, staff, and administration of Easterseals and the Approved Private School Program staff as well as Charter School Contacts and ACCESS Personnel.
Educational Background:
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Pathology (SLP), Education, Social Work (SW) or equivalent degree programs required.
Skills/Experience:
- OT, PT, SLP-CCC or SW must have current/valid Pennsylvania licensure.
- Education and SLP must have current/valid teaching certification.
- 1+ years of rehabilitation/teaching experience required.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience required.
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.
- Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance required.
- Acceptable FBI Clearance required.
- Passing of physical examination and TB required.
