Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. We are looking to hire a dynamic Manager of Rehabilitation and Support Services in the Pittsburgh Area.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 am-3:00 pm, 12 months per year.
Areas of Responsibility:
- The Manager, Behavior Supports provides behavior analysis services and behavior management plans for students enrolled in Easterseals school programs and Charter school programs.
- This position provides support and professional learning to school site staff, para-educators, and parents/guardians in appropriate behavior intervention techniques; conducts assessments and develops plans that conform to IDEA, Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements and other applicable statue and regulations; demonstrates skills commensurate with the Behavior Support Specialist and works with the IEP Team to effectively plan, develop and provide instructional and behavioral strategies and techniques for students within the Easterseals School Programs.
- The Manager, Behavior Supports provides supervision and support to the Behavior Support staff as well as assisting in establishing and meeting Easterseals school program goals.
Educational Background:
Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent, from an approved college or university is required.
Skills/Experience:
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- BCBA Supervisory Certification is required.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the field of applied behavior analysis preferred.
- 1+ years supervisory experience is required.
- Acceptable Criminal Record Check required.
- Acceptable Child Abuse History Clearance required.
- Acceptable FBI Clearance required.
- Passing of physical examination and TB required.
