Help build lives and community by working with low-income families to achieve their dream of homeownership. As Family Selection Coordinator at Chatham Habitat for Humanity in Pittsboro, you will perform community outreach to educate the public about the homeownership program, process applications and keep organized records for tracking and grant reporting, organize/lead skill building workshops for partner families, and support families in the process of purchasing their first home.
Skills/Experience:
- Strong communication & organizational skills; some higher education, BA preferred, also willing consider relevant experience in lieu of degree; computer skills – Microsoft office, database and internet; sensitivity to issues facing low-income families;
Compensation/Benefits:
This is 30 hour/week position with benefits. Hourly rate is $14-$15. Varying schedule with evening and weekend work required.
