Working as a part of the Major Gifts team, engages in targeted donor cultivation, communication, and solicitation strategies that drive revenue by promoting donor retention and accelerating donor advancement into Major Gift portfolios. Navigates a high-volume donor pool efficiently and effectively with a commitment to value each distinct interaction and honor the individual donor by identifying their interests and passions. Additionally, collaborates with multiple teams to build captivating donor offers, craft compelling impact reports, and develop successful donor engagement opportunities. - Drive major gifts revenue at Make-A-Wish America by:
- Meaningfully connecting with donors to identify their specific interests and passions properly
- Working with National Philanthropy Advisors on building and managing specific individual goals for qualified Major Gift donors
- Work toward building and carrying a portfolio of individual “not yet MG qualified” donors to cultivate, steward and solicit
- Supporting donor relationship managers and director in scheduling donor meetings
- Building intentional relationships within National Team (medical outreach, strategy, chapter advancement, brand, etc.) to gain understanding of funding priorities and opportunities for funding that may exist in order to craft compelling donor offers and impact reports
- Actively using Raiser’s Edge database to input actions, pull reports, run queries/exports and record information properly
- Exhibits a donor-centric mindset

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years in Fundraising/Development with proven track record of relationship building that fosters engagement and drives revenue.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and computer skills is required. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or donor database is a plus.
