Work with United Way of Ohio Valley’s (UWOV) Board members, staff and volunteer teams to carry out UWOV’s vision where we envision communities where every man, woman, and child has access to quality education, financial stability, and healthy lifestyle.
The Director of Community Impact is outward facing, results-oriented, high energy and inspiring. They will engage organizations, businesses, schools, community leaders and individuals to collectively address education, financial stability and health issues to create measurable long-term impact. This position manages, coordinates, facilitates and over-sees community level impact work.
They will develop and coordinate long-range strategic plans to build strong partnerships, drive volunteer engagement to support community impact, generate a variety of resources necessary to enhance the organizations ability to meet its mission of impact; and utilize data to support the decision.
This position has additional responsibilities of donor engagement, resource development, implementing the process of fund distribution, funded agency, and partner support as well as overseeing 211 and other community initiatives.
