The Batch Associate in the Donations Processing department’s batch area is responsible for receiving and prepping incoming work from all divisions, division postal lock boxes, National Home Office, and any other entities deemed necessary. The Batch Associate is also responsible for performing general tasks associated with the Batch, Imaging, and other areas as deemed necessary.
• Conduct their work in such a way that supports the Shared Service Center’s six core values; Focus On The Customer, Teamwork, Excellence, Integrity, Innovation, and Initiative.
• Receive and register FED EX and other packages from divisions and other sources.
• Receive, weigh, and register direct mail packages from USPS.
• Stage lockbox mail for content extraction.
• Extract and sort lockbox mail content.
• Stage, create, and prep lock box mail batches.
• Prepare and register all event donation batches & performs other related tasks.
• Prep accounts payable batch types for imaging.
• Perform all package content separation tasks.
• Prepare and register all event data form batches for imaging.
• Prepare and register, (Batch Out), all batch bank deposits.
• Observe and adhere to all security policies and procedures.
• General inbound work sorting and distribution to all Donations Processing department areas and other departments as needed.
• General duties within the Shared Service Center as assigned.
• Maintain basic knowledge of applications relating to donations and document processing.
• Maintain general business process knowledge of all products and services provided by the department.
• Maintain general knowledge of business purposes the department supports with its products and services.
• Keep the Batch area neat and orderly.

Position Requirements

High School Graduate or GED required.  Prefer at least two years general office experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Initiative, professionalism and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to maintain quality service in a busy office environment; exercise tact, discretion, common sense and dependability
• Willingness and ability to be flexible.  
• The candidate should possess the ability to acquire user training and knowledge on the use of mail extraction equipment and operating software  
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel and Word).
• Multitasked and detailed oriented, able to handle high, as well as highly fluctuating, workflows to meet time sensitive deadlines & to work flexible work hours.
• Must be able to lift or push 30 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods of time.
