Areas of Responsibility: 

We have an excellent opportunity for a part-time, temporary Development Specialist to support our signature campaigns in our Oklahoma City office.

  • Prospecting & calling potential Life Is Why We Give (LIWWG) companies.
  • Creating cultivation items for our volunteers/partners.
  • Dropping off supplies, thank you letters, and cultivation items to companies.
  • Delivering Sponsorship Plaques for Go Red For Women (GRFW), Heart Ball (HB), & Heart Walk (HW) campaigns.
  • Cold Calling companies and asking if they are interested in learning more about our mission.
  • Printing and organizing supplies needed for meetings, kick offs, and presentations.
  • Calling people to confirm meetings.
  • Help schedule & organize COR events.
Educational Background: 
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred. College coursework combined with related experience may be substituted for a degree.
Skills/Experience: 
  • Related experience may be substituted as follows: 1½ years’ experience equates to 1 full time year of higher education.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ related experience and in supporting multiple staff members. This experience may also count towards the educational requirement above.
