Development Consultant

This is an interim opportunity through June 2018 responsible for working closely with leadership volunteers on individual and corporate giving to advance our lifesaving Mission. This involves both direct fundraising and influencing the engagement of others through the signature campaigns of the Silicon Valley's Research Roundtable and Go Red For Women.

Skills/Experience: 
  • 7+ years successful experience in fundraising and volunteer leadership engagement
  • Ability to thrive in a results-driven and collaborative environment with highly effective organization, multi-tasking, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Experience with the American Heart Association in a fundraising position
  • Demonstrated track record iin both securing corporate sponsorship and individual giving
