Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is seeking an effective and impactful Stewardship Manager, President’s Circle whom will be responsible for the development and implementation of the high-touch donor stewardship strategies of the President’s Circle mid-level giving program. The Stewardship Manager will also use donor profiles and behavioral metrics to help develop a segment of high-value mid-level donors that will benefit from additional stewardship and personal outreach with the objective of upgrading within the mid-level pipeline and beyond. The manager will execute premium level stewardship techniques in one of many fashion with a personal outreach. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • With guidance from Associate Director, leads the stewardship operation of mid-level program ($25+ million in annual revenue).
  • Develops a segment of high-value mid-level donors using donor profiles and behavioral metrics.
  • Executes premium level stewardship techniques using personalized direct marketing techniques and outreach. Including thank you calls and emails, special invitations, follow up to survey responses, lift notes, attending events, etc.
  • Proven ability to prioritize donor interactions as assigned by the Associate Director and follow-up via phone, email and mail with a high level of professionalism and in a time sensitive manner.
  • Create and manage the cultivation and stewardship communication model; engaging with key stakeholders in a timely manner and with accurate execution.
  • Develops and responds to family foundation requests, proposals, reports to ensure deadlines are met.
  • In coordination with the Production Specialist, manages the planning and execution of stewardship production elements for a variety of campaigns.
  • Manages the research of mid-level donors to identify capacity and interest to develop the pipeline of growth.
  • Point person for Donor Services on inbound President’s Circle requests and communications. Collaborates closely with PMG, Research, Donor Relations, and Development Systems.
  • Works collaboratively with affiliate colleagues across the nation and specifically with participants in the Collaborative Fundraising Program.
  • Gains the esteem of all partners as an expert in the mid-level field of successful program management.
  • Will maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in Team Approach and Blackbaud CRM to include comprehensive understanding of how the database works and is managed.
  • Uses skills to query, export and for reporting on program efforts. Uses excellent database judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintains a high level of donor confidentiality.
  • Provide general assistance to the Associate Director Stewardship & Engagement in managing various aspects of program.
  • Models PPFA’s best practices in building collegial and productive working relationships with interdivisional and affiliate partners. 
REQUIREMENTS / TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 3-5 years non-profit, campaign or agency relevant experience with direct response.
  • Annual fund or direct response experience required. Proven database management skills and the ability to utilize research tools.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Donor databases like Team Approach/BlackBaud CRM.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address multiple problems and issues; attention to detail.
