The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a temporary, part-time Youth Market Coordinator in Memphis, TN
The Youth Market Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating distribution of prizes to local school(s) for the AHA’s Kids Heart Challenge event. The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining superior customer service relations with schools, sponsors, customers, volunteers and donors by providing professional and friendly assistance within best practice guidelines, with proactive resolution of issues or needs. The Coordinator will be required to travel within the Memphis, TN territory to visit participating school(s) and hand out prizes to students.
Skills/Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in similar role
- Experience with school system a plus
- Ability to work independently and resourcefully
- Preference will be given to candidates who live in territory.
- Ability to communicate, build relationships, gain trust and effectively work with and through volunteers
- Ability to travel within territory daily
- Some heavy lifting involved
- Valid driver’s license, proof of at least minimum state-required automobile liability insurance and ability and willingness to travel as position demands
- Satisfactory background checks including motor vehicle and criminal history
