United Way of Southwest Louisiana has an opening for a Volunteer & Special Events Coordinator.  The coordinator will be responsible to develop and manage the coordination and placement of groups of volunteers; plan, execute and evaluate UWSWLA sponsored annual volunteer events; manage volunteer software; develop and implement training opportunties to build volunteer capacity and experiences; engage volunteers in times of disaster; overall volunteer management, including recruit and training;  and the planning and  execution of special event logistics.

Educational Background: 
High School Diploma Bachelor's Degree Associate Degree
