United Way of Southwest Louisiana has an opening for a Community & Initiatives Manager. This staff position is responsible for United Way's efforts to create collective impact and support an informed change movement while advancing the common good in United Way's focus areas.
As a member of the Community Impact team, the CI Manager will provide task leadership on all internal United Way initiatives.
Responsibilites includes the development of strong collaborative relationships within the community, regional and statewide nonprofit agencies, municipal and parish governments. The manager will manage assigned impact projects, coalitions and direct service projects to support an engaged change movement. This manager will help to develop new collaborative community partnerships to achieve community change objectives in education, financial stability, health and basic needs. Building trust and relationships with working partners while taking productive steps to reach goals associated of the organization.
