To develop Nutrition Counseling training implementation plan with provincial team in consultation with Provincial Nutrition Officer of MoPH Coordinate/facilitate the Nutrition Counselors’ training implementation plan with the respective partners Coordinate/facilitate nutrition counselors’ training in close coordination with IHSAN, PND and IHSAN partners. Map and identify key stakeholders for nutrition counseling capacity enhancement Support the training institutions (BPHS-NGOs) to ensure quality training materials and Learning Resources Packages(LRP) are available Accountable for achieving the planned results Lead the trainings in terms of overall management. Assist the training team with facilitation of assigned/relevant sessions. Ensure quality of the training Facilitate the Nutrition Counselors’ trainings at the district and provincial levels, where needed. Support post training follow up Monitor the trainings and the implementation of the developed plan Conduct/facilitate training evaluations and provide feedback for improvement Ensure proper reporting of all trainings Supervise and provide technical and management support for the Nutrition Counselors Coordinate with partners on financial management and documentation Attend different meetings with other stakeholders as per need Ensure adequately and timely procurement and supply of training materials and tools to the trainers and trainees Prepare progress and results report in view of project plan Ensure gender equity and gender mainstreaming throughout the project in coordination with partners Carry out the responsibilities of the role in a way which reflects IHSAN commitment to protecting children in accordance with the Child Safeguarding Policy. Take additional duties and tasks as requested

Educational Background: 
Medical Doctor, Midwife, Nurse
Skills/Experience: 
  • Two years of work experience in nutrition and preferably similar position in capacity building
  • Working knowledge of computer (MS office)
  • Good English language skills (Verbal/Written)
  • Good local languages skills (Dari/Pashto) as required.
