Basic Responsibilities:

Responsible to Camp Director. Must have knowledge, practical experience and ability to plan, organize and lead appropriate programs. Remain current on ACA standards. Direct and supervise seasonal groups. Supervise program staff. Recruit and coordinate volunteers. Camper and staff recruitment. Represent Easter Seals Camp ASCCA to parents, groups, businesses and the public. Staff training.

Qualifications:

Qualifications include:

  • B.S. Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain the following:
  • AL boaters license
  • Lifeguard Certification
  • Certified Pool Operator
  • Lifeguard Instructor
Knowledgeable or able to obtain knowledge of all camp program areas.
